Karakat Lok Sabha seat is becoming more hot seat day by day. As the voting day is approaching, the political activity in Karakat is increasing. Tuesday was the last day of nomination. On the last day, Pratima Devi, mother of Bhojpuri power star Pawan Singh, has filed her nomination form as an independent candidate from Karakat Lok Sabha constituency. Pawan Singh’s mother reached the collectorate without any noise. After this she left silently. Only the proponents were with him. She went back after filing her nomination simply, without any sloganeering or garland. Before this, Pawan Singh had filed his nomination on May 9th. Fearing that Pawan Singh’s nomination may be cancelled, his mother has also filed his nomination. Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on May 15, while May 16 is the last date for withdrawal of nominations.
Pawan Singh’s supporters fear that his nomination will be canceled
After this there was talk that the nomination of Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh could be canceled under conspiracy. Pawan Singh’s team told that nomination is a constitutional process and apart from filing his nomination papers, any candidate also files nomination in the name of one of his close relatives. If his nomination is canceled due to an error in his nomination or for any other reason, he can contest the elections on the basis of the nomination of his close relative. Therefore, as a precautionary measure, Pawan Singh, like others, has got his mother Pratima Devi nominated from Karakat Lok Sabha constituency. This is not surprising, it is just a constitutional process.
Pawan Singh is trying to mislead the public
Voting on Upendra Kushwaha’s favorite Karakat seat will be held on June 1 in the seventh phase of Lok Sabha elections. At present, most of the parties are focusing on the Lok Sabha seats of the fourth and fifth phase. Here NDA has fielded Upendra Kushwaha. Pawan Singh has contested as an independent candidate after not getting ticket from BJP. On behalf of the Grand Alliance, the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) has fielded Raja Ram Singh and he is also happy that NDA voters are getting divided on this name. BJP leaders are openly supporting Upendra Kushwaha. Here, Upendra Kushwaha is also saying that Pawan Singh is just trying to mislead the public by showing his power through social media.
